MEMBERS and friends of the St John’s Church and the Methodist Church in Delabole responded enthusiastically when they heard about the Christmas Angels Project in early November.

The project has grown from its roots in the North East of England, and some 250 angels have been knitted in Delabole.

Over the weeks leading up to Christmas, the angels will be seen in various locations in the village with an invitation attached for them to be taken home as a gift of love.

The Delabole project was featured in the United Churches Christingle and Gift Service held on the first Sunday in Advent and commended in prayer.
