AS the Labour Parliamentary Candidate for the Monmouth Constituency in the recent General Election, I would like to thank the many people who gave me their support and encouragement when I spoke to them on the doorstep or on the phone.

As I travelled around the constituency during many months of campaigning, I never ceased to admire its beauty and to be impressed by the warmth and friendliness of its residents.

Monmouth has a wealth of valuable assets and wonderful people; it deserves to thrive and prosper in the years to come.  

I would like to thank the thousands of people who voted Labour in the Monmouth constituency, congratulate David Davies on his victory – and say that I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign.
