THERE are a number of events scheduled for 2017 in the Endelienta calendar to be held in St Endellion Church.
On Saturday, January 21, at 7.30pm ‘The Lavolta Ensemble’, a chamber group featuring two vocalists and an eleven-piece band, will play a selection of 20th century music.
The following month on Saturday, February 18, ‘The Grace Notes’ will play a mixture of jazz, soul, funk, disco and Motown — starting at 7.30pm.
In March, on Saturday 11, Helen Chadwick Song Theatre will present ‘House of Light’, starting at 7.30pm, with Helen leading a singing workshop in the afternoon.
Later that month, on Thursday, March 30, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra ‘Brass Ensemble’ will entertain audiences with their unique sound, performance starts at 7.30pm.
On Friday, April 28, the ‘Collegium Utrecht’, a mixed choir of 25 singers from the Netherlands, will delight audience from 7.30pm.
Finally, on Saturday, April 29, from 10am to 3pm, there will be a reflective day entitled ‘Painting as Pilgrimage’, held by David Marl, artist and priest. The event will be part of his exhibition, which is open during weekdays from April 22, to May 7, in St Endellion Church Hall.
