THE usual array of transportation heralded the beginning of the annual Budehaven Prom, seeing off an amazing year 11 group in sunshine and cheer.

This year transport ranged from arrival via boat along the canal; a horse box; tractors carting trailers full of suited and well-dressed students and a stunning range of vintage cars.

As students made their way onto the red carpet their photographs were snapped up, smiling couples and lifelong friendship groups posed whilst truly excited about the evening ahead.

The crowds that surrounded them consisting of proud parents, teachers and Bude folk who enjoy watching the annual tradition take place, all combined to create a real buzz as the students made their way to the garden for group photographs.
