EGLOSKERRY Primary School has been chosen as the regional winner for the National Caravanning Club’s ‘Get Kids Outdoors’ competition.
The National Caravanning Club enjoyed seeing the school’s photos, illustrating the vast range of activities that the pupils took part in.
The pupils have been enjoying the outdoors as part of the school’s Forest School learning and approach to outdoor education.
A spokesperson for the school said: “A big thank you goes to Mrs Jenny Nash, Forest School leader, who linked this competition into her teaching.”
As part of winning the Get Kids Outdoors competition, Egloskerry Primary School have won a range of camping equipment, £250 worth of vouchers, and a one night zoo and camping experience with the National Caravanning Club, which will go into a prize draw for one lucky family from Egloskerry.
