THE music producers of the future, Year 5 pupils from Holsworthy C of E Primary School were invited to attend a music day at Shebbear College recently, and test out their skills.

The day involved children producing their own music in the Mac Suite, learning to play the ukuleles, keyboard and a range of percussion instruments, and listening to Shebbear’s ‘Big Band’.

A primary school spokesperson said: “This wonderful opportunity proved popular with the pupils, with many showing an interest in learning more about how to play different instruments and expressing their enjoyment of producing their own music using the computer software.”

The staff and children expressed their thanks to Shebbear College for hosting the day and giving the children the opportunity to make music.
