THERE was much excitement and enjoyment at Camelford Primary School recently when they held their annual summer fete.

Pupils, parents, staff and the wider community came together to enjoy games created by the children, tombolas, bouncy castles, hot food, stalls and a huge grand raffle. Throwing wet sponges at teachers in the stocks proved very popular with pupils, definitely adding to the total raised, which was over £1,500! The icing on the cake was the Camelford Youth Band who came along and gave a brilliant performance.

A spokesperson from the Friends of Camelford Primary School said: “The Friends of CPS would like to say a huge thank you to all who helped, donated to and supported the event.”
