EARLY Birds Preschool in Bude have recently taken part in a Ready Steady Listen event in conjunction with The Little Library, run by Ailsa Horton and Usborne Books.

The children were sponsored to listen to as many stories as possible over a week. Along with local business donations and their sponsorship money they raised over £200 to spend on books for the preschool.

Due to their efforts the preschool also gained an extra £84 worth of free titles from Usborne.

Early Birds and Ailsa extended thanks to Kath Mills at Shine and Amanda Tame at Bay Plumbing and Heating for their generous contributions.
