MOLE Valley Farmers’ ‘Mr Mole’ and a ‘Christmas Elf’ went along on Tuesday, November 27, to visit primary schools and nurseries in the Holsworthy area to present them with a Christmas tree.

Among the lucky people to receive a Christmas tree were pupils at Holsworthy Primary School and Thorne Manor Nursery.

Regional marketing manager Christian Welburn said: “We as a business sell 9,000 trees a year, which are all UK-grown, and this year we have been placing more emphasis on engaging with our local communities. Each store has been contacting local schools, nurseries and hospitals and donating a tree to help get everyone in the festive Christmas spirit. In Holsworthy it was Phil Heal who organised the tree presentation for Mole Valley Farmers.

“We do have more trees available so if anyone wants one they should enquire at their local store.”
