THERE were dinosaurs galore at the recent Hi5 Talk Time Café party in Bude!

As well as games and a raffle, there were dinosaur cakes and biscuits on offer, games and a name the dinosaur competition.

The event was held to raise awareness of the café and as a treat for the families that already use the service.

Hi5 Talk Time Café is a support group for parents and carers of children with additional needs.

No diagnosis is needed, and families are invited along every Tuesday during term time at London House, 35 The Strand, Bude.

Each week, there is an extensive information hub available, with details on various support and organisations that some parents may be unaware of.

The group, which is self-funded, also holds sessions on Makaton signing and baby massage, among others.

Currently the group is used by families in Bude, with some travelling from Launceston and Okehampton.

However, the organisers are keen to reach out to others who may not know there is such support available to them.

Anyone interested in finding out more can email [email protected] or find the group on Facebook.
