THE Holsworthy detachment of the Army Cadet Force (ACF) has been celebrating after two of its corporals recently received public service qualifications.

Cpls Sam Williams and James Doyle have received their ACF BTec diploma in public services and teamwork.

The diploma equates to two GCSE passes and is recognised by employers.

Presenting the certificates detachment commander Lt Jim Harvey said: “This is a great achievement for the pair and another example of how being an army cadet can have real world value through certification such as the BTec, first aid at work and Duke of Edinburgh Award.”
