AS the latest event to be postponed due to COVID uncertainty, the Eden Sessions series of concerts planned for June and July of this year will now not take place in early summer, the Eden Project announced today.

Regrettably, the St Blazey attraction says, the uncertainties around staging the series due to the impacts of the pandemic and restrictions on outdoor audiences mean that the Summer Sessions have had to be postponed.

The ambition is that all of the acts announced for this year will be rescheduled to play in front of the world-famous Biomes at a later date yet to be decided.

When new dates are confirmed, Eden will contact existing ticket holders with details. Original tickets will remain valid for any show that is moved to a new date.

An Eden spokesperson said today: “We’re really sorry to disappoint Sessions ticket holders.

“Since the Government’s new four-step regulations came in, we’ve been looking long and hard at all the options. Our paramount concern is the safety of our concert-goers and staff.

“With all the uncertainties surrounding outdoor gatherings, we’ve decided that rescheduling our brilliant line-up is the best course for everyone.”

The spokesperson expressed Eden’s deepest thanks for the patience and understanding of all ticket holders, adding: “We so much look forward to welcoming people back to the Sessions and say ‘please watch this space’ as we work to find new dates for the shows.”

In September 2019 the Eden Project and global live events company AEG Presents announced a new partnership, Eden Sessions Ltd, to run the Eden Sessions.
