ST Teath Football Club youth team held an Easter fun day at the pitch on Sunday (March 29).
Despite the weather, the event was well supported and included craft stalls, the chance to soak the coaches in the stocks, a barbecue and a penalty shootout.
Sarah Hewett, who organised the event along with Emma Rix and Cath Turner, said there had been 'tonnes of support from local businesses' — with prizes for the highest scoring adult and child at the penalty shootout donated by Sharp's Brewery and Plymouth Argyle respectively.
Instead of a raffle, visitors could pay to pick from 100 gold boxes, which included 'something fabulous', such as a meal for two at the Oystercatcher and Hustyns spa voucher, or 'something funny' — such as the smelly socks of one of the coaches.
