AN Easter coffee morning was held in St Breward Church on Saturday, April 13, and raised £430.

The Easter table was different this year, with a tombola comprising Easter treats.

The cake stall which was full of Easter themed goodies and a large raffle was held, with Easter eggs.

The bric a brac had some interesting items for sale, including a section for children and a fruit raffle.

The kitchen was also busy throughout serving refreshments, including slices of a home made hot cross tray bake.

St Breward Parochial Church Council treasurer and events co-ordinator, Caroline Hooper said: “The profit from the very successful and cheerful morning realised an excellent £430 net — well done everyone. The atmosphere was wonderful throughout.

“Very many thanks to the stall holders, bakers, donors and participants for making the morning such a joyous occasion which reminded us that it will soon be Easter.”
