There was a good turnout for the monthly quiz at the Village Hall last Saturday.
Mark and Mandy had devised some interesting rounds, including a table round of pictures of famous people from the world of entertainment which had been cleverly disguised with some cunning graffiti.
The top three scores were very close, but 'Universally Challenged' came out top, with 'Family Circle' second and 'The Golden Girls' third.
The team whose knowledge of Welsh rugby and football will, no doubt, be swatting up on sports for next month's quiz, which will be held on Saturday, July 11, at 8 pm.
The bar will be open from 7.30 pm. Why not come along and bring your friends?
There will be a Victorian Tea at the Village Hall on Sunday, June 28, with tea, sandwiches and cakes served just as grandma would have loved.
Tea will be served from 3 until 6 pm and the cost is only £5 per person. There will also be a plant sale during the afternoon, with all proceeds going to charity. All are welcome.
Finally, a reminder that the Jubilee Park is always open and is a good place for a leisurely walk.
The Friends of the Park have been busy during the winter and spring, with the result that the park is looking particularly beautiful this year.
