MANY residents woke up to find the streets paved with snow last week.

All across Britain there had been an amber warning for snowstorms, with gritter lorries working throughout Thursday night to try and prepare for the worst.

Though the rest of the country has been hit quite badly, and continues to receive flurries of snow, North Cornwall only saw a small part of the storm.
