A SPLASHING good time was had at The Mill pub last Friday at the eighth annual Elstead duck race.

Launched by St James Primary School in 2007 and now a popular fixture in the village calendar, this year's event raised an impressive £1,500 toward the amount required to upgrade its old metal windows.
