DUCHY College will be playing host to prospective students on Saturday, November 26, between 10am and 12pm, opening up the campus to give them a chance to explore the options available and access advice for their future career.

Advisors will be on hand to offer a range of information on all aspects of college life, including the range of courses, study programme, transport, accommodation and student services.

The courses offered at Stoke Climsland include agriculture, animal management, childcare, construction plant, equine, gamekeeping, military academy, outdoor adventure, public services and sport. Duchy College has something for everyone. The college is able to give students all the experience and skills necessary for their future career.

Head of college, Rob Dunn, said: “I would advise those looking into their options for further study next September to come to our event and find out more. It is a great chance to take a look around, meet the staff and current students.”

Courses start at entry level, with progression routes up to postgraduate level study. Options to study on full and part time courses, as well as apprenticeship qualifications, are available.

Rob added: “Although students now have to stay in education until they are 18, it does not necessarily mean at school sixth form. They have the choice of a college course or apprenticeship, and this event will help them with that decision making process. We are looking forward to welcoming potential students and their families onto our campus on November 26.”
