A HOLSWORTHY woman was given four points on her driving licence and fined £300 after pleading guilty to an incident of speeding.

Tamsin Harris-Bryant, aged 28 of Woodacott, Holsworthy, appeared at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on June 15.

The court heard that on April 27, Ms Harris-Bryant drove a Vauxhall on the A30 at Temple at a speed exceeding the 70 mph speed limit. A guilty plea was recorded.

She was fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £60 to the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and £15 to HMCS Victim Surcharge.

In addition, her driving licence was endorsed with four points.

Magistrates said the defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when the sentence was imposed.
