A lorry driver was airlifted to hospital on Tuesday after the vehicle he was driving overturned on the A477 near Red Roses.
Police received the report of the single lorry road traffic collision at 10.20 am. Fire, ambulance and air ambulance were also at scene.
The 52-year-old male driver was freed by the fire and rescue service and conveyed to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, by air ambulance. He is in a stable condition.
The road was closed until approximately 5 pm to allow time for the load on the lorry involved in the accident to be transferred to a different lorry for transportation.
