LAUNCESTON Community Market celebrated double donations for local charities.

The first donation went to The Plymouth and District Deaf Children's Society.

The group raised a total of £665 through their general fundraising 'Giving Back To The Community' scheme and raffles etc organised by Maryanne Parsons.

The cheques were presented to the society by Maryanne, her daughter and granddaughter.

The sum was actually presented early so that the society could take advantage of a scheme via Localgiving.com which matched the amount donated resulting in a total of over £1,300 being achieved.
