TWENTY-FIVE internet dongles presented to Launceston Foodbank will help users in their search for jobs, manager Karen Milne has said.

The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) regularly supports the Foodbanks of the county with grant awards, and the unusual gifts — donated to the CCF by Vodafone — were presented by trustee Tim Smith.

The internet dongles have 2GB data allowance for 30 days of use. Karen said: "Launceston Foodbank is committed to help those in crisis in the town and the surrounding areas. We are very grateful to receive the gift of internet dongles from Cornwall Community Foundation.

"They will be very handy for clients who struggle to gain internet access to be able to search for job opportunities or for their children to be able to use the internet for homework."
