FLIC (Films Launceston in the Community) was pleased to present a total of £1,500 to local charities recently, following their recent ‘Film Festival’.

Representatives from Access Theatre, Launceston Town Band and Launceston First Aid Volunteers attended the town hall for the popular film night to receive their cheques.

FLIC is about to celebrate ten years of bringing cinema back to Launceston. During this time FLIC has been pleased to support various local charities with profits from the Friday film nights and other showings in the town hall.

FLIC has been pleased to make a significant contribution to the cost of the audio visual system in the town hall and films are now shown on a cinema sized screen with full surround sound making for a real cinema experience.
