UP FRONT Breastfeeding Group in Launceston have received £500 from the Co-operative's Community Fund.

Accepting the award on behalf of the group, Louise Hunt said: "We are so grateful for the grant from the Co-Op. We aim to enable breastfeeding mums to have support and encouragement from other breastfeeding mums in our town, with the aim of helping mums to breastfeed for as long as they wish.

"This money will aid in training eight more local mums. We run two groups in the town, Wednesday at Launceston Children's Centre and Thursday at St Stephen's Children's Centre.
