MORE than £700 has been donated to Children's Hospice South West from staff at the Brendon Arms Hotel in Bude. A cheque of £770 was presented to Judy Pride from the hospice at the weekend.

The proceeds were raised at the pub's annual quiz evening on March 19. Stephanie Turner from the Brendon Arms has extended her thanks to everyone who supported the event and also to the breweries which kindly donated a barrel of beer and lager.
