On April 3, Val Schubert of Bude Parkinson's Support Group presented a donation of £400 to Liz Langdon, from Community Physiotherapy, who runs an exercise class for the group. The money will be used to buy new equipment and pay for a Tai Chi instructor. The Support Group pay for the Parkhouse Rooms and rely on donation from generous people. This donation came from Nobbie Woolner's 101st birthday and also Ray and Pam Hopgood's Golden Wedding, for which they asked for donations instead of gifts. The group expressed their thanks to everyone for their support. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club.
