THE six-month-old Siberian Husky that was believed to have been stolen from its owner while at Crooklets Car Park, Bude, was safely returned on Wednesday, March 27.

'Ash' was said to have ran from her owner, Paul Richardson from Hertforshire, while he was visiting friends on Friday, March 22, but after extensive searching, Ash was not found.

Due to the her high value and age, Paul believed that Ash had been stolen. He set up a Facebook page, 'Find Ash' and local people gathered in support to help locate the dog.

Devon and Cornwall Police received information of the dog's whereabouts in St Austell around six days later, and was able to retrieve Ash from a property where she was being kept.
