THE 21 members of the Cornwall Watercolour Society (CWS) are exhibiting their paintings at the Camelford Gallery until Saturday, May 10. The ethos of the CWS is to show the diversity of works in the medium. There is no defined style of artist — the spectrum ranges from botanical illustration across to abstraction. John Blight, who runs the Camelford Gallery at Market Place, is chair of the CWS, which was formed in 2005 by ten members. Soon after moving to and opening the gallery, John, who had been a member and exhibitor of the Sussex Watercolour Society, became aware that a Cornwall society was not in existence.
