WERRINGTON ladies Helen Ingmire and Caroline Jenkin organised a disco and buffet event at Trethorne Leisure Centre, to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the UK Stem Cell Foundation.

Both ladies have friends who suffer from either disease and the event raised £3,999.60.

This is to be shared equally between the charities.
