WERRINGTON CC recently held their annual Dinner & Dance at the Eagle House Hotel.

In excess of 130 people attended and an excellent meal was enjoyed by all.

The President Mrs Linda Cobbledick proposed a toast to the club and congratulated everyone on an excellent year both on and off the field.

The club has held several events during the season including a mid-season lunch, a fashion show, skittles competition, six a side competition and a big breakfast.

Two other achievements stand out this season, the completion of the all weather nets which has taken two years of hard work by the committee and also the initiation of a girls cricket team.
