THERE was an amazing and full week of entertainment and fun for the 60th Bridgerule Revel Week. The event started with the crowning of the village queen, Katie Hallett, by Mark Shears. Katie gave a brief speech, officially opening Revel Week on Sunday, July 27. followed by a cream tea in the village hall with stalls, games and a raffle. The Bridge Water Mill was open by Rosie and Alan Beat for an hour for people interested in seeing the mill grinding wheat into flour. A united service took place in celebration of Bridgerule's Queen and the start of Revel Week. For the full report, and a round-up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
