Bill and Myrtle Harris (nee Hambly) recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary. The couple were married on June 2, 1949 at Pyworthy Church by Rev E P James. They lived at Pyworthy for 40 years before moving to Holsworthy 20 years ago. Bill worked at Parsons Garage and Myrtle for Thomas Oke and Son. They celebrated their

diamond anniversary with a special lunch for

family and friends and open house later in the day for friends and neighbours.
