CAMELFORD Hunt held their annual meet on the Monday after Boxing Day this year, with a large number of people turning out to see them set off.

Despite there being no horses, as they were left behind this year due to safety reasons, a large crowd gathered outside the Darlington Pub, Camelford, where they met before setting off to Davidstow Moor.

The scent had been laid out before hand for the dogs to follow and many from across the area walked with the hunt. It was reported as being a rare occasion for the horses to be left behind, with one other instance on a new year day.
