CORNWALL Councillor for Altarnun Philip Parsons said the recent visit of Cornwall Council Chief Executive Kevin Lavery to the east of the county was both "positive and constructive."
Mr Lavery went along to meet with local farmers and related businesses, local councillors and council highway and education staff.
Commenting on the visit, Cllr Parsons said: "I was delighted to arrange the visit and promote local industry and issues in the Launceston area. The event was planned around the farming industry, the Cornish lamb producers and the local lamb plant to raise the profile of this industry and the needs of the area."
