GOOD news for Post readers in Stratton — you can now pick up your weekly edition at the town's shop, which re-opens today (Wednesday).

Andrew Shepherd, who owns and runs Lansdown Dairy in Bude, has taken on the premises, and in doing so, hopes to provide residents of Stratton with an amenity that best suits them.

He said: "We're looking to get up and running right away. The people of Stratton have been without a shop for too long. It's all go."

The shop, which closed in January, has undergone a complete refit, with new flooring, shelving and refrigerators forming part of the extensive renovations, and Andrew says with staff working in conjunction with Lansdown Dairy, people can expect just as thorough a selection of goods.
