THE Delabole branch of the Royal British Legion held a coffee morning at the Methodist Chapel on Saturday.

The event was well supported and was organised to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.

As well as RBL gifts for sale, there was a raffle, cake stall, tombola and refreshments.

Branch president, Geoff Cleave, said: “Many thanks to everyone who donated items for the coffee morning and to everyone who helped and attended. Also thanks to the people of the village for their generosity during the poppy collection.”
