PERMISSION was granted on Tuesday, December 2 for the erection of four wind turbines, a sub-station building and associated access tracks in connection with the re-powering and de-commissioning of the existing wind farm at Deli, Farm, Delabole.

The application — submitted by Good Energy Generation Ltd — was reported to the Planning and Development Committee in October but a decision was deferred pending re-consultation on additional information which had been received.

Case officer, Simon King said having considered the "satisfactory additional information" and the additional representations "it remains the view that the proposal is satisfactory."

Councillors voted to approve the plans.
