THE Delabole Branch of the Royal British Legion felt very fortunate to have such lovely weather to hold their annual Cream Tea Event at Pencarey, St Teath on Sunday, June 17.
Branch members were especially grateful to Mr and Mrs Tew for allowing them to hold the fundraiser in their home and garden and to all those who helped set up the gazebos for the event.
Trading was brisk at the cake, BL goods, tom bola and raffle stalls and the cream teas proved very popular.
The St Teath Society of Model Engineers was kept very busy, with three of their engines and wagons in use throughout the afternoon.
