The Delabole Methodist Church will be transformed this weekend for the annual flower festival.

Held over three days from Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7, nearly 30 flower displays under the theme of ‘Royal Moments’ will be shown off to the general public.

This year’s festival is celebrating royal occasions inspired by the Queen’s 90th birthday, with the proceeds being donated, as usual, to Cornish hospices.

Each day the festival runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm, while the festival concludes with songs of praise at 6pm on Sunday.

Refreshments and light lunches will be available each day.

The Rev Bryan Ede is as ever looking forward to the occasion, he said: “We hope that many will come to support the efforts of the dedicated team who work hard to create the festival for such a worthy cause.”
