Firefighters from Delabole Community Fire Station are holding surgeries at Camelford One Stop Shop and they will be present from 9.30am until 11.30am every month. The firefighters are there to offer free fire safety advice to anyone who needs it. The type of advice they will give ranges from home fire safety, where Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service offer the opportunity of a visit by firefighters to your home to give advice on escape plans. Where necessary they will install smoke detectors free of charge. The firefighters will also be available to give advice to anyone in business about fire risk assessments and other areas in respect of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service will have firefighters in every One Stop Shop throughout Cornwall on a monthly basis.
