Friends of Delabole Methodist Church held their Annual Music Day on Saturday, October 15.

A number of musicians provided continuous music for seven hours.

The range of music included singing, piano, organ, saxophone, clarinet and bottles. A total of £240 was donated to the charity ShelterBox.

Those who went to listen could also purchase Christmas cards and other goods from stalls organised by the representatives of local charities, where takings amounted to some £600.

To help the day along, cups of coffee and tea were available as well as a soup and sweet lunch.

Church steward, Patricia Molloy said: "It was an enjoyable, friendly and worthwhile day."
