CONGRATULATIONS to Rachel Margaret Thomas, of Lampeter Velfrey, who recently graduated from The University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Carmarthen.

Rachel, a former pupil of Tavernspite CP School and Ysgol Dyffryn Taf, Whitland, graduated with a batchelor of arts with 1st class honours in business and management.

She also achieved the faculty award of business and management for outstanding achievement and contribution.

Rachel is the daughter of David and Rita, of Ty-Cornel, Lampeter Velfrey, and the granddaughter of George Thomas, of Sardis, and Gilbert Williams, of Lampeter Velfrey.

Congratulations to Sam Turton, who has recently graduated from Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, with a first class honours degree in mathematics and an honours pass with distinction in the master of mathematics course.

At the end of the summer, he will move to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to pursue a PhD in mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

A former student of Ysgol Greenhill School, Sam is the son of Peter and Sally Turton and the grandson of Boo and Tony Markes.

Congratulations to Grace Rowe who graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BA Hons in Educational Studies and Early Years Studies.

She is the daughter of Tim and Jackie Rowe, of Tenby, and a former pupil of Tenby Infants, Juniors and Greenhill School.

CONGRATULATIONS to Robyn Macbeth, of Tenby, who recently graduated with a 2.1 degree of bachelor of science with honours in psychology at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

Robyn is the daughter of Nicky Macbeth and James Macbeth, and the granddaughter of June and Dave Harris.

A former pupil of Tenby Infants and Junior Schools and Greenhill in Tenby, Robyn is looking forward to a prosperous future in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

Lucy Elston recently graduated from University of South Wales after completing her degree in sociology and psychology.

Lucy achieved an amazing first with honours. Mum Jo, dad Nick, sister Jess and step mum Julie attended to see Lucy receive her well-deserved degree on Tuesday, July 15.

Lucy has already gained employment with the Principality Building Society in Cardiff.

All of Lucy's family are very proud of her achievements and in getting employment so quickly and wish her all the best of luck for the future.
