A DEFIBRILLATOR has been stolen from inside a metal container at the Launceston College playing fields.
The Powerheart defibrillator, which is green and has a strap on it, was stolen on Saturday, December 9.
Launceston Tennis Club’s assistant secretary, Jenny Worth, said: “We noticed it on Saturday, December 9 when we were doing some work on the tennis courts. Paul Chidley from Southgate Colts pointed it out and we couldn’t believe it.
“The container is open while sport is being played and it looks like someone has just come in and taken it.
“We’ve reported it to the police and they said they’ll do what they can but it looks unlikely that we’ll find it.”
Anyone who knows anything about the defibrillator’s whereabouts, can contact Jenny on 01566 772615 or the police on 101.
Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
