RESIDENTS of Whitstone will be able to access a vital piece of life-saving equipment thanks to the installation of a defibrillator in the parish hall.
The installation on Saturday was attended by around 40 people. The defibrillator, situated in the hall's front porch, will be accessible for everyone to use at all times.
The need for the equipment was outlined at an open parish meeting attended by St John Ambulance representatives. Parishioners felt it was a worthy project for the parish council to take forward.
