ON MAY 12, the Altarnun Community Choir held its debut concert in St Nonna's Church, Altarnun, in aid of the Stroke Association. The choir sang a selection of popular songs including 'Whistle Down the Wind,' and 'Da Doo Ron Ron.' They are part of the choir's repertoire for the jubilee celebrations on June 2. Cassandra Bosdet, gave a solo performance of 'Angels Ever Bright and Fair' from Handel's Theodora and 'If I Loved You' from Carousel. The evening was well attended and raised £400.
