THE death has occurred in Truro of Mrs Dorothy Barriball, 89, who for many years lived in Launceston.

Mrs Barriball moved to Truro 15 years ago to be near her son, Colin Gregory, and his family after the death of her husband Sidney Barriball. Her first husband, James Gregory, died in 1963.

Born near Camelford, she and her family moved to Launceston in 1950. Her son trained as a journalist on The Post and is now feature writer with the West Briton at Truro.

The funeral takes place tomorrow (Friday) at Penmount Crematorium.
