TONY, Elizabeth and Mark Brewington from The Dural Stud, Bradworthy, collected awards in the South West Division of the Dartmoor Pony Society Points Award at the society's annual general meeting held at Gypsy Hill Hotel, Exeter.

The Brewingtons took the mare of the year with their home-bred five year old Dural Dancing Queen by new premium stallion Whinberry Black Jack which was a winner at Breed Championhips and reserve champion at Chagford.

Their eight year old stallion Crowndale Cricket was runner-up in the male section; Cricket bred by Melissa Edwards was supreme at the Moorland Show and champion at Dunster while their youngsters Dural Athena and Titania were fourth and fifth in the young stock.

Nicola Hussey, daughter of former chairman Mar Vanstone from Beaworthy, received the Glenda Spooner Award for her excellent work for over ten years being secretary of the Southern Dartmoor Show.
