DAN Wood, Head Professional at Holsworthy Golf Club, and his partner Stuart Smith knocked out the county amateur pairing of Adam Bridgewater and Leon Fricker in the second round of the South West Foursomes Tournament at Yelverton Golf Club.
They managed to beat the two +1 handicap players 4&3 thanks to some solid golf and now face their next opponents in the third round on November 29.
The other pairing from Holsworthy. Ryan Acres and Matt Ford, also won their second round match, 2&1.
