BADOCK Gardens in Holsworthy is a peaceful place the public can sit and enjoy a break from everyday life, but recently this tranquillity has been disrupted.

The Post recently reported that damage had been caused to one of the benches in the gardens. Now the area is being blighted by a mystery litterer, with mounds of rubbish piling up around the seating area.

This has been reported to the Holsworthy Police, and they are aware of this situation and the group of youths that are in this area,” adding: “This behaviour will not be tolerated in Holsworthy.”

They said: “If you do this, or are with someone who does this, then shame on you, and be aware, the council is able to issue you with a Fixed Penalty Notice of up to £75.

“If you see somebody do this you can report them to the council

“Badock Gardens is a beautiful haven for the residents of Holsworthy. Please keep it that way or you will not be welcome there.”
