PARNALLS Solicitors, in Launceston, recently lead the purchase of a former farm set on the edge of the Peak District on behalf of CHICKS charity.
CHICKS are a national charity, which provide free respite breaks to disadvantaged children from all over the UK.
The 62-acre former farm ‘Daleside’ will offer hundreds of children a year from the north of the UK and Scotland the chance to have a break from difficult circumstances.
Louis Mathers, director and head of property department at Parnalls, said: “We were absolutely delighted to help make the purchase of Daleside as smooth and as quick as possible so CHICKS could move in and carry out the works that were needed before the children were able to visit.
“CHICKS carries out fantastic work with children from across Cornwall and Devon at their two other retreats, however it is great to see them expanding their work out of the county and we wish all the children many happy memories from their stay at Daleside.”
